With Social Media being so easy to access, personal branding is becoming the new normal around the small business world. Visual platforms like Instagram, Facebook and even our websites are the “go to” place for your potential clients to make their first impression of you! When you are visually able to show your clients and customers what you do and not just tell them, you are able to get the message you want them to have faster. Did you know that 65% of our country are visual learners?! Having strong personal branding images is key to letting your clients know who you are and helping to build that all important trust and connection!
Before we can define branding, we first need to know what a brand is. Everything your customer sees, hears, and feels (emotionally and physically) is your brand. If you sell products your customer can eat or drink, then what they taste is also part of your brand. Your brand is created in the minds of your audience. It’s their perception of what your business is, what it does, and how it does it.
So, if your brand is what your audience believes to be true of your business then your branding is how you, the business owner, influence those beliefs. Your branding is how you tell your story to your customers to make them feel and believe certain truths about your business.
